Easy to set up

Initially I I liked this product as it has Gigabit interface, two frequency bands and high data rate. However it kept going stale and stopping. The Log file always contains many failed operations. I went on to the Community and found others were having the same problem. So until TP-LINK are able to fix the problems I do not recommend buying this product as it appears not fit for purpose.

Gives me whole house Wi-Fi without having to go for more expensive Mesh devices. Lots of solid walls which left half the house without coverage, even gets most of a very large garden. Does all this while out of sight under the stairs. Very pleased.

Easy to set up and had working very quickly as an extension to my wifi network and got good range / speeds out of it. Unfortunately, it would crash / lock up in less that 24 hours and had to be power cycled to get working again. Updated to latest firmware to see if that would fix it (TL-WA1201(EU)_V2_200709) but it was no better. Once the firmware is sorted out, it appears that this would be a good product but at the moment it is no good to me and was returned. CCL response was top notch as usual to this problem. No complaints there.
