The adapter was bent at an awkward angle to the point where I had to force it into the PCIE slot when installing it. It was working as expected after it was installed however after a couple months of use it began not being able to detect any WI-FI networks and is now at the point of not functioning what so ever. This could be because of two reasons, either the WI-FI adapter is overheating because of the lack of a heatsink or the awkward bend on the adapter bracket itself causes it to shift out of place of the PCIE port constantly. Even if this product is only 10 I would advise you to spend a bit more on something more reliable.

Installed in a new build system, Win 10 sorted out all the necessary drivers and it was functioning at 25% WIFI without the antennae and a full 100% when I remembered to attach them.

I bought this to give my 5yr old pc wireless capabilities and it works perfectly. It was so easy to fit onto my main board and on start up windows 10 detected it and found the drivers on the CD disc provided in the box. I'm very happy with it and highly recommend for any pc needing WiFi.

Works fine, and cheap, no issues.

It didn't work. There is no physical switch to 'turn it on' and yet other PCIe wifi adapters i've used just 'work' and find signals when Windows starts. This one just says it's not turned on, and won't let you turn it on. It's only 6 quid.. but i'd rather have something that works badly than not work at all.. put the money towards a TP link or Tenda etc

As expected. Part of a budget build, they should really come with the adapters for fitting a normal case as well as the low profile bracket.
