Brought two of these 18 months ago and recently one reported bad sectors. It was still within it's two year warranty so was able to return it for a partial refund. Have replaced it with another identical disk. Otherwise pretty good value for money.

Surprisingly quiet for a 7200rpm drive. Large file transfers are fast for a mechanical drive and as it will be mainly used for video storage it is more than sufficient for my needs.

I was looking for an affordable good quality 3 TB Hard Drive to use as a backup drive for my new PC build. I was very impressed with the build quality and the performance for the price of this Toshiba Hard Drive. It came beautifully packed and was very easy to fit, I have been backing up all my files and it has been working flawlessly. I can highly recommend this Hard Drive.

Great value HDD that worked straight out of the box. Delivery was also very fast.

If you buy this make sure your operating system and bios are up to date, at first installation windows recognised the full capacity of the drive but would only let me use 2 thirds until windows automatically installed an update (fortunate). The bios has also to be no less than a 2011 version uefi (I believe). Also as you format the drive, use the GPT option NOT MBR as you will need to re-format if you don't. Once up and running, everything should be fine.

I have been using Toshiba drives for years now. I have always found them good value and very reliable.

The HDD was priced at CCL the same as a few other sites but I have bought many items over the years at CCL and have never been disappointed with the service. The only downside was the delivery time, it could have been shorter but it was free!

I've bought several Toshiba 3TB hard disks over the last few years. I have some which run 24/7 in a server and others which serve as desktop storage in daily use, or in backup devices used intermittently. Some are in RAID and some are in LVM (logical volumes). I have had zero issues with reliability. The disks are not silent but are about as quiet as a hard disk can be. I'm completely satisfied with the Toshiba disks and will not hesitate to buy more if required. They also have the benefit of being extremely good value.
