I took it out of the box and plugged it into my laptop and it worked without further ado. Small and lightweight so ideal for using in limited desk space with a laptop on a stand for better neck position. Great to have the integrated touchpad so there's no need for a mouse. One of the cheaper options on the market, but no issues with the quality either in terms of the look or feel. I've been using it for a couple of weeks now and have had no problems.
