i ended up getting a differnt model as this one didnt give me the bandwith i needed also the plug was the wrong way up because i chose the wrong model this is my fault and not CCL

Just what I needed to have internet around the house, in conjunction with a TP-Link wifi plug-in extender. These provide wired internet access for smart TV, etc. without losing a socket. Easy to set up (if you follow the instructions). The app allows further configuration.

Having a TP-Link router and wanting a wired connection from the garden office (shed) these network connectors seemed the way to go. The build is good and they were a doddle to set up and worked straight away. Now we've got them everywhere and there's no need to care about wifi signals anymore. The through plug means you don't lose use of the plug socket either. Been very happy with these and I can't understand why everyone doesn't use them.

Solved my issue of getting a good internet connection far from the router. Easy installation and currently have the best speeds I've ever had. much more reliable than wifi.

Having set up a office shed, I realised I was outside our router's wifi range and while a network cable across the garden was feasible in summer, it would not do in winter. These things are just the trick. I was a bit suspicious on receiving them though as, all over the manual are the words "on the same circuit" and this is not made clear in the CCL blurb. And your remote location is unlikely to be on the same circuit as your router. However, I gave it a go. The set-up is easy-peasy and they work like a charm. So much so, we now have a few more around the house. I suspect the signal won't get past a meter, but as long as there is a solid power connection from router power to your required location, this should work. I cannot see these high frequencies getting through any transformer or other coil. Job's a good'un Actually, if your plug sockets are really close to the floor, there might be atight fit as the network cable goes in the bottom. One improvement I might suggest is the ability to turn off the pilot lights.

I couldn't access the internet in my bedroom from a router downstairs. Buying the TP Link Powerline Kit has completely solved the proble. It just involves two extra mains plug devices one downstairs and one in the bedroom. So easy and so good

Cheaper than Amazon and great delivery time. The Powerline has given me internet in a WiFi dead zone at home. From 110mbps at the router I get 89mbps at my laptop. More than happy with that.

I was unsure if this powerline would work. I have a remote garage and my Nest camera was working intermittently on BT WiFi. The powerline was simple to install and has worked seamlessly. I wouldnt recommend 5 stars unless the product has made my life better and it has!

With WiFi I am getting better connection than the TP link. Speed reduced from 100Mbps to 80Mbps. I have checked the same item in one of my friends home. Same result. Customer service is not very helpful. Avoid the product.

Does the job. I was looking for the model that has the 2 Ethernet ports at the top.. this one is a single port at the bottom but (I think) was slightly cheaper than the others. I have 6 throughout the house and these synced up with no issue and were picked up by the TP Link app. Transfer speeds were as expected.

I bought this product as I already had a starter kit but only the one to connect to the hub was a passthrough which meant the socket the other one was plugged into was lost. I bought these to use a wired connection as the wifi connection was dropping out from time to time. They work brilliantly and the sockets are still available to use for other electrical items.

A very good piece of tech apart from the ethernet socket and pair button being at the bottom,it would be much easier if they were at the top.

From the outset I should say that this device does exactly what I needed. I consistently achieve 75Mbps through my Sky Broadband connection delivered via the TP-Link devices. Performance may depend on your home wiring,but I don't have anything special and it works fine. Unlike some devices (best to check with the supplier/manufacturer) this supports network switches, so one device beside the (downstairs) router and one upstairs gives me coverage for most of the house. I use a small Netgear GS205 switch and now have four additional Ethernet ports. After pairing the devices (necessary to get them talking to each other), they have remained paired and functioning perfectly for the 2 months I have had them. I have used other devices before but this is the best I have used.

I have a pair working on TV1 and my Mac. I extended my system by putting 1 more unit on TV2. Everything worked perfect. AS RXPECTED.

These arrived in good time to replace BT apperatus that had failed. These are smaller and better designed than the BT type, easy to set up and perform well. A good price and great product.
